In the Nagano Prefectural Comprehensive Education Center, collage activity is used in counseling school non-attending children. This study examined the effectiveness of collage as a counseling activity and the feasibility of collage in a school setting. The following advantage of using collage in counseling can be made. First of all, the relationship between the child and his teacher and classmates was improved after collage activities. Secondly, collage activities over time provided information on how the children think and feel at different. Thus, the activities help counselors moniter and adjust counseling interventions. And lastly, making collage reduced children's stress and increased their mental energy, which in turn improved their development to independence and inter-personal relationship.
