In this study, we will discuss the differentiation of embryonic stem (ES) cell cultured on various materials. On the polysaccharide immobilized surfaces, ES cell differentiated to various Ores Of tissue cells than that on the tissue culture dish. However intestine like structures was not observed. On the other hand, on the synthetic type polyelectrolyte complex (PEC), intestine like structures with peristalsis was observed. As a result it was suggested that culture materials effect the differentiation of ES cellss
