himalayana，イラクサ科のElatostema lineolatumが挙げられ，また，Plectocomia himalayanaは吐き気に，キク科のArtemisia princepsは風邪，咳，マラリアに，シソ科のMenta spicataは喉の痛みや高血圧に，ユリ科のAllium属の一種（現地名Narang）は下痢・腹痛に，タデ科のPersicaria runcinataは尿路感染症に効果があると信じられていた。さらに，シソ科のPogostemon amaranthoidesおよびユリ科のPolygonatum cirrhifoliumは鉄分の供給源，Plectocomia himalayanaおよびElatostema lineolatumはビタミン源として認識されており，タデ科のFagopyrum
