Scince the end of the war, it has formed a single and closed breeding unit. Hewever, the herd size had recently decreased and the average coefficient of inbreeding had increased with advancing years. It will play an important role in the breeding that the reproductive efficiency obtained from both mares and stallions of Kiso. Used horses were born and registered form 1975 to 1985. The results obtained are as follows. The average age of the breeding were 9.7 years in mared and 9.3 years in stallions (Fig. 1). The birth number was 135 during 11 years ago, 65 in filly and 70 in colt (Fig. 2-5). The sex ratio was about 1 : 1. The average of first birth age was 6.6 years (Fig. 6). The average of birth age were 10.2 years in mares and 8.9 years in stallions (Fig. 7 and 8). The average of delivery interval was 1.7 years (Fig. 9), but frequenct of delivery was 2.2 (Fig. 10).
