@article{oai:soar-ir.repo.nii.ac.jp:00010799, author = {北沢, 秋司}, issue = {1}, journal = {信州大学農学部紀要}, month = {Jun}, note = {As a case study of granite zone liable to cause intensive landslides the author made effort, in this article, to evaluate several physical properties, such as color density, specific gravity, effective porosity, water absorption ratio, compression and tensile strength, by testing sample discs and plates cut out of weathered granite subsurface prevailing on NAGISO, a distrct in the KISO River's Valley. The article consist of seven chapters. 1. In Chapter II & III he made description and analysis of the weathered granite in this district, and of reperted intensive landslide disasters in 1959 and the following years. He tried to classify a series of three strata in this granite covering in accordance with the stages of weathering process, and presented some distribution maps of his classified stratum types and of landslides on them. 2. In Chapter IV & V he described how to locate the typical samples of 25 × 25 × 25 (cm3) size and how to cut and polish his sample discs and plates, using two types of his newly devised sample processing machines (now under application for Japanese Government Patents). 3. In Chapter VI he demonstrated the testing techniques of physical properties above mentioned of the discs and plates, with the tables of tested results obtained, And he endeavored to approve any correlation among these findings, such ascorrlation between compression (tensile) strength and effective porosity and the like. 4. In Chapter VII he tried to find any clue to explain the mechanism of landslides, in tensively occur on weathered granite strata and to seek any possibility of application of these physical property tests for the estimation and prediction of landslide occuring on granite strata., Article, 信州大学農学部紀要 14(1): 55-94(1977)}, pages = {55--94}, title = {南木曾地方における後濃飛花崗岩類の風化とその物理的性質について}, volume = {14}, year = {1977} }
