The activity of these associations is not always brisk, but Daimon Forest Owner's Association shows lively activity and belongs to the most superior association in Nagano prefecture. In this treatise, we tried to point out the desirable state of forest owner's association, taking consideration of the actual state of Daimon Forest Owner's Association. In the first part of this report, we explained the outlooks of forest owner's associations in Nagano prefecture. In the second part, we explained the general situations of natural and economical conditions, and outlooks of the forest and the forestry. And then we explained the actual state of Daimon Forest Owner's Association. In the last part, we tried to point out the desirable state of forest owner's association. These may be summarily illustrated as follows: 1 Generally, the forest area in the district of a forest owner's association is too small in size to be fixed as the management basis, so it is desirable to enlarge the area of the district. 2 The staff of each forest owner's association must be filled up in quantity and in quality to extend the works of each forest owner's association. 3 In order to tie together the association and the members of the association, the staff of the association must earnestly lead the members. 4 To let have advantages in sale for the forest owner's associations, it is necessary to enlarge the scale and to unite every forest owner's associations. 5 It is desirable to be intrusted with forestry management of the members. 6 It is desirable that the forest owner's association may build up the organization of the forest labourers. 7 It is expected that the forest owner's associations act as the kernel of the mechanizing in forestry, Article, 信州大学農学部紀要 3(4): 355-379(1965)}, pages = {355--379}, title = {長野県における森林組合について―大門森林組合の実態―}, volume = {3}, year = {1965} }
