This paper deals with the differences of nutrient contents in the needles between the abnormal over-grown trees (Tokkuri-diseased trees) and the normal grown ones of Chamaecyparis (Chamaecyparis obtusa ENDL.). 2. Three samples were selected from both the abnormal and the normal grown trees (about 40 years old) respectively in the experimental forest of Shinshu university. 3. From January through December, 1963, the current needles were obtained monthly from the uppermost shoots of the each sample tree, and analyzed for mineral nutrient elements. The experimental results are summarized as follows. a) The nitrogen content in the abnormal needles was shown higher than in the normal ones, while lower content of phosphorus was observed in the abnormal ones. However, the remarkable differences were not found in the contents of the potassium, calcium and magnesium. b) As regards the monthly variations of nutrient contents, the nitrogen and phosphorus content in the abnormal needles decreased conspicuously from May to June and increased again in July, while considerable change was not recognized in both mineral contents of the normal needles. The potassium content of both the abnormal and the normal needles decreased similarly from May to June. In the case of calcium and magnesium content, any special variation was not observed between both needles. c) As regards the nutritive ratios, the abnormal needles showed higher N-P and K-P ratios than those of the normal needles., Article, 信州大学農学部学術報告 9: 73-82(1965)}, pages = {73--82}, title = {ヒノキのトックリ病に関する研究 第2報 被害木の葉に含まれる無機成分について}, volume = {9}, year = {1965} }
