In this study, the test method, examining damage degree depended fundamentaly on that of Nagano Forestry Experimental Office. But we devised a new method, modifiing them. On the assumption that there were no healthy trees on that stand, we have the following items about the damaged degree. I observing on all new shoots of crown per a tree, I-type; diseased shoots are recognized a few or little. (slightly damaged tree.) Ill-type; the case except I and V type. (moderated damaged tree.) V-type; diseased shoots are recognized 50% over. (heavily damaged tree.) II observing on only terminal shoot per a tree, a; terminal shoot, standing erect, and can't distinguish from healthy shoot. b; terminal shoot, standing erect, but leaves (its shoot, having) shrinking or already dropping off. c; terminal shoot, crooked, and leaves, having or not Furthermore, we examined the number of making new shoots and of becoming like a broom in each tree. In this examination, we had 9 plots on the plantation of larch stand, and among these plots, 4 plots were situated on the Enrei mountain pass in Okaya City and 5 plots in Omagari district near the Kirigamine hill in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture. In the former case (Enrei), 4 plots were as follows, 1 young aged stand was 8th years old, 2 middle aged stands were about 12th years old and 1 adult aged stand was 35th-40th years old. In the latter case (Omagari), 5 plots were almost same age, 10th-11th years old. From these observation, we summerized following three points. (i) Appearance of diseased type; As a result of both young and middle aged stands in Eneri plot, V type's apperance (%), showing high percentage, 44% and 25-65% respectively, and in middle aged stand, the percentage was more changeable, it seemed to due to a element of the condition of these stands. In adult stand, crown's form was remarkably effected by strong wind strength, so that, we could not be clear to the damage degree itself. In Omagari district, the diseased degree was slighter than that of Enrei, and generally belonging to the III-type. Thus, we seemed to have a conclusion that the diseased degree was obviously effected by the element of topography of these stands. (ii) Growth height; The diseased larch stand decreased remarkably growth height, in other words, a stand, containing mainly in V-type trees, produced lower than that of I-and Ill-type in height growth. (iii) Topography and diseased type; The larch plantation stands were often situated near the ridge top of a hill or were seldom exposed to strong wind. In these cases, V-type trees seemed to appeared, on the contrary, situated on less blowing wind or on saddle, I-or Ill-type trees generally seemed to do. Finally, from the stem-analysis, we found out the result that the diseased trees generally decreased the growth of height since 1973, and this period agreed with the same year of which the disease of shoot blight was introduced into these districts., Article, 信州大学農学部演習林報告 15: 1-14(1978)}, pages = {1--14}, title = {カラマツ先枯病に感染した林分の生産力について}, volume = {15}, year = {1978} }
