 note = {The thinning in Japanese larch forests has become the theme of research. And in this paper we deal with the results of the row thinning in prefectural planted forests in Takato, Nagano. The results of the row thinning in Japanese larch forests are as follows: 1 It is possible to build up the sound japanese larch forests by means of the row thinning. 2 It is capable to improve the labor productivity and to secure the safety of operation by the systematization of logging process by means of the the high density road-network and the gigantic machine. 3 The row thinning is possible to settle down as the thinning technics in Japanese larch forests in Nagano. 4 The earnings in thinnings are decided by the difference between the cost of the construction of forest road and the selling price of thinning trees. 5 The focus in problems of thinning in japanese larch forests may be to make clear the burden division of the cost of the construction of forest road to secure the profitable marketing route., Article, 信州大学農学部演習林報告 9: 1-23(1972)},
