 note = {The Chichibu Belt of the Southwest Japan is mainly occupied by the Mesozoic subduction complexes. The ages of the complexes in the northern Akaishi Mountains still remains unknown indetail because of metamorphism and strong deformation. Middle Jurassic radiolarian fossils, namely Tricolocapsa plicarum Yao, T. (?) fusiformis Yao, Eucyrtidiellum unumaense (Yao), Dictyomitrella (?) Kamoensis Mizutani and Kido were obtained from the exceptionally less-deformed mudstone in the Mibugawa River area.
