The ages of the complexes in the northern Akaishi Mountains still remains unknown indetail because of metamorphism and strong deformation. Middle Jurassic radiolarian fossils, namely Tricolocapsa plicarum Yao, T. (?) fusiformis Yao, Eucyrtidiellum unumaense (Yao), Dictyomitrella (?) Kamoensis Mizutani and Kido were obtained from the exceptionally less-deformed mudstone in the Mibugawa River area. The biohorizone indicated by the radioralians is Tricolocapsa plicarum zone (Matsuoka, 1995)., Article, 信州大学理学部紀要 35(2): 69-78(2001)}, pages = {69--78}, title = {赤石山地北部の秩父帯から産出したジュラ紀中世放散虫化石群集}, volume = {35}, year = {2001} }
