The linearized equations of motion for the steady flow are used on the assumption that a constant wind is blowing over the shallow homogeneous lake, The numerical solutions for stream function and two-dimentional velocities are obtained as a function of depth and horizontal position. The surface currents are measured by a continuous telescopic trace of the movement of drifting floats. Both results are in good agreement. The vertical distributions of the velocities show the formation of a finite depth Ekman spiral in a closed sea., Article, 信州大学工学部紀要 40: 35-49 (1976)}, pages = {35--49}, title = {諏訪湖の湖流について}, volume = {40}, year = {1976} }
