These governmental bodies are effective units of organization. However, it is important to consider the effectiveness of treating things on a regional scale, which is in line with the needs of tourists and natural and geographic conditions. Some of the previous activities undertaken by the administration have been in line with this concept of regionality. For example, the Alps Azumino National Government Park, which was constructed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism at the Azumino area in Ngano prefecture, has the role of being the inspiration for improvements on a regional scale for the area. In order to realize our policy of regional area improvements, we are cooperating with others in the region and we are considering the possibility of building place branding in the region through a soft strategy like creating events.
