In the previous paper (5th report), the principal stresses produced in the disc are obta-ined and the limiting curves of its failure are deduced using the various theori-es related to the failure of materials which are commonly recognized to date and are compared with each other. In the present paper (6th report) the displace-ments and strains are obtained in order to examine the deformation of disc pre-cisely ; namely in (1) the tangential displacement that measures the twist of disc, in (2) the radial displacement that is a measure of increase of a radius, in (3) the radial and hoop normal strains, in (4) the two principal strains in the plane of disk, in (5) the axial principal strain which indicates the change of disc thick-ess, in (6) the maximum shearing strains that have a close relationship to the maximum shearing stresses, are studied.
