We focused on the ultrastructure analyses of bacterial cellulose produced under high pressure. The bacteria (Gluconoacetobacter xylinus) could produce cellulose even under the pressure of 50 MPa. Scanning electron micrograph revealed the wider microfibril than those produced under atmosphere.
