Those could be applied as emulsifiers for emulsion polymerization. It was found that UV-irradiation of the resulting latexes precipitates polymers almost quantitatively and removes surface-active or ionic residues from the polymer precipitates. We also prepared acylbenzyl-containing surfactants which were sensitive with longer-wavelength light (> 280 nm) and examined their degradability and functionality. Rapid and selective dechlorination of trichlorobenzene (TCB) was performed in aqueous surfactant solutions in the presence of photosensitizers (dimethylaniline derivatives) and sacrificial reductants. Preliminary experiments revealed that extraction and photo-dechlorination of TCB with surfactants can be recycled., Article, 先進ファイバー工学研究教育拠点研究成果報告書 11: 90-90(2005)}, title = {15-3-25 : 光分解性繊維・高分子材料の創製 : 光分解性を有する界面活性剤及び高分子材料の開発と応用}, year = {2005} }
