In this study we focused to prepare regenerated cellulose fiber by using the bagasse of sugarcane produced in Okinawa prefecture. It is clarified that the bagasse was contained 45 wt% of lignin and about 11wt% of silica. The lignin and the silica were eliminated by 10 wt% NaOH aqueous solution at 90 ℃ and 48 h. The obtained cellulose showed a similar crystal form of cellulose II, and the cellulose was dissolved in N-methylmolpholine N-oxide at 90 ℃ about 1 h. The spinning was performed in water by using the solution. The mechanical properties of the obtained light brown fiber were weaker than that of rayon on the market., Article, 先進ファイバー工学研究教育拠点研究成果報告書 11: 116-116(2005)}, title = {15-5-5 : 植物系繊維の利用に関する研究}, year = {2005} }
