They contained polylysine with concentration ranging from 0~20 wt% of Hyalrlonic acid. Viscoelastic measurement of these solutions showed that the viscoelasticity takes maximum value at a polylysine concentration. The concentration where the viscoelasticity, takes maximum changes depending on the pH and increases with the increase of pH. Hyaluronic acid aqueous solution if used for the treatment of osteoarthlitis. However, the duration in which the solution is effective is not so long, since the molecular weight of hyaluronic acid in it decreases with the progression of time because of the large shear deformation subjected to in the knee joint.
