The purpose of this study is the utilization of the interlayer nanospace for the preparation of functional layered oxides. We have suc-ceeded in the preparation of a alklydiamine-titanic acid compound, a metallic-conducting layered ruthenate with ion-exchange capability, a proton-electron mixed conducting ruthenic acid, and ruthenic acid nanosheets.
