In this study, functional control of chondrocyte (ATDC5) in vitro was discussed by measuring cell morphology, cell growth and cell differentiation on PEC coating dishes. The cell on PEC coating dishes containing carboxyl groups formed cell aggregate, and the production of cartilage matrix and typeII collagen of ATDC5 were promoted.
