Based on the idea that the feeding activities of living zooplankton contribute to the methane concentrations in the lake, we examined wheter investigate live zooplankton evolve methane as a consequence of their feeding activities. Dissolved methane concentrations were higher after 6 hours in the samples of zooplankton only.
