Zoobenthos density in Outer Lake was 781 m⁻², of which chironomid larvae and oligochaetes formed 77% and 21%, respectively. Abundance of chironomid larvae especially Procladius and Tanypus increased as compared with the abundance during 1982-1983. Zooplankton density was between 149-710 l⁻¹.
