The maximum values of the standing crops were obtained on June, and the individual number and the biomass were 2,710 ind. /m3 and 13.6 mg/ m3, respectively. Based on the maximum value, the standing crop of L. kindtii was calculated about 70 mg dry wt. /m2. The relation between the body length and dry weight of L. kindtii was shown as the following equation: log W = logL-0.093 / 0.473 where W is the dry weight (mg) and L is the body length (mm) of L. kindtii. In Lake Suwa the proportion of L. kindtii among the total zooplankton were 0.012-0.28 % as individual number and were 0.12-0.84 % as biomass., Article, 信州大学理学部付属諏訪臨湖実験所報告 4: 9-14(1982)}, pages = {9--14}, title = {諏訪湖におけるノロ(Leptodora kindtii)の現存量}, volume = {4}, year = {1982} }
