The many and various biotopes were　reconstracted and created in many regions of Japan. Before the creation of the new biotopes，h owever，the existing biotopes in the region have to conserve and make good use. The biotope mapping was carried out to abstract the existing biotopes and to know these distribution in the three typical areassuch as town， countryside and foot of mourttain of Matsumoto city.
