Here,a ll the medical problems are concerned with high altitude environment, thus the doctors are very enthusiastic on the high altitude medicine. The representative or president of Qinghai Branch of the Chinese Medical Association is Dr lang Yian-Bo・Whenour group consisting of 4 members, Drs F. Nakajillla, G. Ueda, K. Shiosawa and A. Sakai,v isited there last summer,D r Zhang Jianshen and other members worked as interpretors. Dr Zhang,w ho is a deputy director of Qinghai Medical College,t ranslated as physiologist my talk on high altitude med- 1Cllle. Qinghai ~hould be not only a treasure house of natural resource to be explored but a mountainous condominium full of medical material to be tackled. Younger generations in Shinshu University therefore must be encouraged to study them.
