It is how to generate the heat loss in the motor without actual loading that is important in these methods, and the difference between various methods lies here. Our method is easy and simple, and is as follows. The motor is running with no load by the impressed unbalanced three phase voltage, and the input is adjusted so as to be equal to the loss when the motor is running normally with the rated load.
