 note = {When the flood water pours into a lake, it is very important to manage the sluice gates at the outlet of the lake. If the management is adequate,<br/>we can not only prevent the lake-side district from inundation, but also prevent the lower streams from damages by water. On these problems, the auther bas already presented theorefical formulas to calculate the variation of water level at the lake after the gates have been fully opened. In this paper, he describes with some examples that we can be conveniently free from complex calculation with many factors, by utilizing some diagrams which are derived from above mentioned formulas.
