@article{oai:soar-ir.repo.nii.ac.jp:00017251, author = {加藤, 靜一}, issue = {1}, journal = {信州大學紀要}, month = {Jul}, note = {Trachoma is always one of the great pending problem for ophthalmologist since 50 years ago, and there are still many questions under discussion, namely the aetiology of this disease, the pathological value of Prowazek's inclusion bodies, the differentiation between trachoma and paratrachoma (Lindner)and so on. The author observed during 5years the trachomatous patients in various parts of Sinsyú and compared the results with the own experiences in North China,Karafuto (Saghalien) and Sinozima (a small island of Aiti prefecture).In Japan,trachoma is considered as a national eye disease and nearly 30% of less elegant populations are suffering from this disease.This figure seems to be appiicable in Sinozima,where 54% of School children are trachomatous,but,in Sinsyú,the patients are very few,in Matumoto at most 2~3%,in isolated villages among mountains 8.5%.In Matsumoto,according to our personal observation,there has been,during 5 years,no case of Kerate-conjunctivitis epidemica (Keratltis superficialis punctata) observed,and 3 cases of this disease were all infected previously in Tokio or Nagoya.This observation is considered to be very noticable in relation to the rarity of trachoma.In Sinsyu,the climate is cool and dry during all seasons and everywhere the people are rich in clean water; this seems to be the leading factors preventing from noxious spreading.The confirmation of Pxowazek’s inclusion bodies is very difficult and the demonstration of typical inclusion bodies is proved in rare exceptional cases,and these cases showed,during 3 years observation,benignant progress and healed almost scarlessly. Prowazek’s inclusion bodies are considered to have intimate relationship to so-called paratrachoma but by no means decided to have no relation to genuie trachoma., Article, 信州大學紀要 1(1): 63-69(1951)}, pages = {63--69}, title = {信州のトラコーマ特に Prowazek 小体の再検討}, volume = {1}, year = {1951} }
