I reseached several phases of the chinese peoples' resistance movement in Chiang Che (江浙), Shang Hai and Pei Ching. My conclusion is as follows. ① The resistance movement looks like the racial movement iucluding in it both the women of all classes and the people in the lower class led by Chiang Che Shen shang (江浙紳商) and the chinese students. ② The racial movement was the chinese peoples' nationalism with antiimperialistic and anti-British elements in it which keenly reflect the inconsistency in the international relation during the last years of Chin dynasty. ③ But, as for the side of the internal inconsistency, they did not directly collide with Pei Ching government and their movement ended in a mutual concession with the government on the principle of \"Pu chieh Pu han\"(部借部還) ④These circumstances shows that the social economic foundation of Chiang Che Shen Shang was in the process of becoming that of modern capitalism and the Shen Shangs' political desire was toward the constitutional monarchy modified by a colour of anti-imperialism and anti-revolutionalism. ⑤ But, inside of the movement, there was the inconsistency between the Chiang Che Shen Shang holding the leadership and the lower class, too. The case of Ku Hsia Riot (塩梟匪乱) in the Chiang Che district was one of its examples.⑥The movement of students extending their energetic activities had a thickly political ideology of the anti-imperialistic patriotism and then their opposition to Pei Ching government was becoming more serious. Finally, the Imperial Order prohibiting the political movement of students was issued.
