This inspired, as its reaction, a new trend among their contemporary antagonists, the Confucians, to contrive to ground their views of Buddhism, through the deeper investigation of the Buddlists scriptures, on a more solid basis of knowledge. Hence a new school of Confucian philosophy known by the name of "Sung hsiao" (宋学) was established. Chang tsai (張載) is one of the forerunners of the branch, his rejection of Buddhistic vission is remarkable. The present author has here made an observation to show what the insistence of Chang tsai is and what significiance and influence it has in the history of thought-development in the Sung Period., Article, 信州大学文理学部紀要 5: 11-20(1955)}, pages = {11--20}, title = {宋初に於ける儒家の排仏論の一傾向:特に張載の幻妄観排撃について}, volume = {5}, year = {1955} }
