Therefore we investigate that the calculated results of the relations between the unevenness of these grooves and the ghosts around the spectrum from this grating, and also of those between the angle between the direction of reflection by the slopes and the direction of the spectrum and the blaze-angle coincide with the experiment, using such an approximate model as to be calculated easily. The results are as follows: 1. Let the angle between the slope of the grating and a small convex surface on the slope be θ_k, the difference between the direction of the maximum intensity of the diffracted light (the line of the ghost) from the small convex surface and that of the principal spectrum (the first order) is approximately equal to θ_k. 2. The difference between the divection of reflection of the grating and that of the principal spectrum of the first order is approximately equal to the blazeangle θ_B. The calculated value agrees with the measured value from the experiment, within the approximations in the process of guiding the expressions and the experimental errors. 3. The existence of regularity in the measured value by the experiment is ascertained in the relations of the lines of the ghosts around the spectrums of each order. 4. In this investigation, it is indicated that Mr. Miyasaka and Prof. Morimoto's method of the inspection of the vertical section of the surface of the metal by the electron microscope is usable to practically., Article, 信州大学教養部紀要. 第二部, 自然科学 6: 31-39(1972)}, pages = {31--39}, title = {Echelette Grating における Spectrum と Blaze 角および溝の斜面の平滑度と Ghost との関係}, volume = {6}, year = {1972} }
