They were finely finished lyrical poems. But as we know, he made a trial work of dramas and tales for four years before the publication of his first collection of poems. After he published his fourth collection of poems, he gave up writing poems and turned to writing fiction in prose. When one surveys his poetry in the order of production, one find that there coexsts in it the realistic vein with the lyrical quality.
