This is noteworthy especially in his early productions. The tendency may be partly because he had an intellectual or speculative inclination by nature, but it owes greatly to his deep meditation in his youth on his existence which is reflected in his works. At the same time it cannot be denied that he was somewhat influenced by the contemporary poems and by those in the preceeding era.
