(1)磁極回転数には最適な回転数が存在する.回転数が増加すると,粒子ブラシが単位時間あたりに加工面を通過する回数が増加するため,研磨性能は向上するが,高速回転になると研磨性能は低下する. (2) 粒子ブラシを構成する強磁性材の供給量には適量が存在する. (3)砥粒径に適した強磁性材の粒径が存在することを明らかにした.強磁性材の粒径が大きくなると,微小切削における背分力が大きくなるため,砥粒の切り込みが増大して研磨量が多くなる.しかし,加工面へ擦過痕を残すため,仕上げ面は向上しない.
