(1) 溝底面の研磨には,溝深さに対する強磁性材の粒径が大きく依存しており, 溝深さ/強磁性材粒径の比が大きくなると溝底面は研磨されない.また,研磨後の表面粗さは強磁性材の粒径に依存する. (2) 本加工法は,段差が1mm程度の場合においても表面と溝底面の除去厚さの差が数μmの範囲に加工可能である. (3)エッジ部の丸み半径の大きさは,強磁性材の粒径に依存する. 特に, 溝深さが小さい場合には溝深さよりも粒子半径の小さい強磁性材を使用することにより,エッジ部の過剰除去を抑制できる.
