Ten cameras were set up within the survey area and a total of 1260 days were spent in photography. Six species of wild mammals were recorded by the cameras : japanese hare (Lepus brachyurus), red fox (Vulpes vulpes), raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides), asiatic black bear (Ursus thibetanus), japanese marten (Martes melampus)and japanese serow (Capricornis crispus).
