We investigated the frequency, contents, and partners of cooperative learning in a class of 18 students for two hours of a Japanese language unit. The results showed that in terms of frequency and content, in the class in which “collection of information” was frequent, the percentage of collaborative learning about “contents of study” in a face-to-face setting was high. In the class in which “summary” was frequent, the percentage of collaborative learning about “methods” in a cloud setting was high.
