Comparing two researches in Japanese elementary schools and Chinese elementary schools, the following results can be concluded. (1) Japanese pupils and Chinese pupils are similar to each other on the experience of foreign cultures. (2) Chinese pupils have stronger interests in foreigners than Japanese pupils because China is a multi-ethnic nation. (3) On the method of making friends with foreigners, Japanese pupils answered to teach Japanese, whereas Chinese pupils answered to speak foreign language.
