Portfolios are regarded as an assessment tools for students in college in all years. As a result of the analysis, we have been able to classify portfolio research since 1975 into five stages: predawn, growth, peak, decrease and stabilization. In the early 1990s, portfolios changed greatly, as they went through digitalization, diversification and standardization. In the late 1990s, portfolios were scaled up from individuals to associations and organizations.
