In such a situation, we have to make English education in Japan more practical and effective than it is now. Recently, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology: MEXT has launched a new policy, in which they call for the needs to measure students' proficiency of the four skills (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) using a new type of entrance examination. This means that to develop a teaching method is the first priority not only in universities but in high schools.
