 note = {The development and utilization of the investigator searching system were reported in this paper. The investigator searching system was developed to enable students to search for other students who have tackled a particular programming problem in a technology education class at a junior high school. Using this searching system, students can seek advice from other students for solving problems at hand. Description of a student, named "T," utilizing this system was included to demonstrate how students may use it in class. Examination of student products found that students to whom the searching system was available were able to take up significantly more tasks than those to whom the system was not available within the same time frame.
