 note = {The purposes of this paper were to investigate the effectiveness of curriculum integration via a case study, and to examine the extent to which integrated studies were genuinely complementary- to core subjects. The conclusions of the study are as follows. (1) Although curriculum integration incorporates a number of issues, the most important is to ensure a consistent relationship among themes and sub-topics. (2) In the learning process, it is important that contents should be fully integrated and that advanced materials should be provided by the teacher.
