But the practical research on this subject is not enough as compared with existing subjects. The purpose of this study is to gain some insights into information teaching through students' activities in the process of modeling and simulation. The results revealed that the strategy of generating variables played an effective role in bringing out students' ideas for revising the initial model in the stage of verification.
