 note = {College of Education in Shinshu University introduced field placement activities, "Shin-dai YOU-Yu Saturday," as a part of preservice teacher education curricula. As prospective teachers, college of education students expanded their experience through the activities. Their reflective description on their practice was analyzed in order to clarify diverse aspects of expansion of their experience. The "Shin-dai YOU-Yu Saturday" facilitated students' growth of skills for lesson planning, communication, and material development.
