 note = {The present paper proposes to use the connectionist model simulator software tlearn for exercises in laboratory class of introductory psychology courses. This paper includes a student manual for an exercise of making neural networks to learn symmetrical patterns in the inputs using tlearn and analyzing the data treating each set of randomly assigned initial connection weights as subject in a usual psychology experiment.
