The professional role of the school counselor: psycho-educational assessments, consultation, coordination and counseling were presented with examples. The function of school counselor was to deliver the idea of student support system and to support school, school staff, students and their parents in the school. For the successful school counseling, the efforts of administrators to establish the system in a flexible way are critical.
