Digital teaching material was created using a video of a junior high school bag sewing competition. An experimental lesson using the digital material was conducted. Free description analysis after the lesson suggested that the home economics teacher training course students could feel how hard the junior high school students worked for the competition. The confidence and learning motivation of the home economics students were found to have increased. In addition, the efficiency analysis of twenty-two teachers after the viewing suggested that this video could increase the understanding of competition.
