In this report, a case of mucoepidermoid carcinoma arising in the tongue is described. A 57-year-old man visited our hospital complaining of haphalgesia of the tongue. A diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma was obtained on biopsy. A partial glossectomy and radical neck dissection on the right side were performed. Pathological diagnosis of the resected tumor was a poorly differentiated mucoepidermoid carcinoma with metastasis to 4lymph nodes. The patient received postoperative radiotherapy and adjuvant chemotheraphy.
