She is treated as high risk. In this study we compaired 92 elderly primipara who delivered at Shinshu Univ. Hospital during the period of 1991 to 1995 with control group using birth records. 1. Eldery primiparas had longer period from their marriage to delivery. 2. There were increased incidences of pregnant elderly primiparas with Diabates mellitus and gynecological diseases during pregnancy. There was no significant different incidence about toxicose. 3. The birth rates with vacuum extraction and emergency ceasarean section were increased. 4. They have higher incidence of congenital malformations of their fetus.
