"the practice records by students″, "the learning attitude of students". Questionnaires by the free answer method were sent out to nursing teachers in our department and clinical instructors in the units in our university hospital. The results were follows. 1. Both the teachers and the clinical instructors pointed out that instructing time of the teachers in clinical units was so short. The teachers pointed out that they needed to have more communication with the clinical instructors as measures against this problem. Where, almost of clinical instructors hoped that teachers would stay longer time in clinical units. The teachers should show educational goals and the role of the teachers and the clinical instructors clearly to the clinical instructors, and need to work together with the clinical instructors. 2. About the practice records, the clinical instructors pointed out that the amount of the records was too much to write, and that students couldn't consider what was important. Where, the teachers pointed out that a certain idea about methods for shortening a recording time was more serious. 3. About the students' attitude, both the teachers and the clinical instructors mentioned that the students couldn't keep suitable interpersonal distance with their patients, and that many students were too passive to care their patients. These results suggest that the teachers should present more clearly what is the learning purpose of students and how is the learning level, and that the teachers should try to make a better location of the clinical instructors in the educational systems.
