This time, We employed multimedia techniques for CAI development. The subject of the newly developed education systemis the maternal and neonatal nursing, especially the neonatal nursing, which is one of the most difficult subject to comprehend in the field. We applied this education system to the students of school of nursig ; and evaluated its effectiveness based on the result of the preliminary application. The result confirms ; ･The CAI system is useful to confirm the knowlege from lectures and to prepare or to review the practical training, ･ Employment of multimedia encourages the learners to acquire accuate knowlege, ･ The CAI system could equip students with high motivation, helping them more involved and aggressive to their learning, ･ Therefore, the CAI system is so contrived that students could learn any subject they wish at their own pace at any time.
